Hi, I'm Rachel.

Journalist | Editor | Content Marketer

I am a former journalist with 5 years’ experience writing for a mainstream newspaper in Singapore called The Business Times. I joined them as an intern during university, and later became a core member of the Executive Lifestyle team, covering the food beat.

After SPH, I ventured into content marketing to become a more versatile writer, picking up project management, client servicing, and marketing skills along the way.

This year, I took on a post-graduate specialist diploma in Behavioural Insights (Applied Psychology) at Temasek Polytechnic, where I learned the psychology behind behavioural nudges, and completed an attachment as a UX/UI designer (i.e. Figma, Adobe XD) with the Banyan Tree Group. 

In my free time, I enjoy calisthenics, travel, cooking, reading, and spending time with my French bulldog (Ramsy).
